The World of Mythics

The Mortal World
The Mortal World in Mythics is the same as ours, the same problems, the same politicians, the same crap day in, and day out. There's still the disbelief that the supernatural exist, and those like Elthia, are seen as frauds, and con artists. However, when the supernatural bleeds into the Mortal World, it's those same people with the job of cleaning it up, and for some, it comes at a price.
There is evidence of magic used in the Mortal World in criminal organizations, and one such organizations in Los Angeles, founded by a council of warlocks.

The Other World
The Other World is where the supernatural comes from. Think of reality as being like in a photo-shopped image, you have the layers upon the image, except that in this case, when a supernatural creature appears in the Mortal World, it's like God whimsically added a layer of the supernatural for a moment.
The Other World is geographically like the Mortal World. In terms of civilization, the technology level has been stalled, with the existence of magic to take care of any kind of long term ill. The majority of the population is virtually immortal, aside from the few towns away from civilization.

Realms
The Realms are essentially the classifications of different beings of the Other World, each belonging to subsets of the supernatural. There are three major realms.

Creatures: The Creatures are more animistic in nature, and are often only dangerous if they're hungry, or they're provoked.
Spirits:The Spirits are a conflicted group. The differing species of spirits have differing views on how to behave. The High Spirits, the ones that become familiars with the Cunning Folk, and other magic users of the Light, want to defend the Mortal World, while the Lesser Spirits are indifferent to the Mortal World, and only visit out of curiosity, as well as create a bit of mischief. Spirits of Chaos seek only to destroy the Mortal World, and are allied with the mysterious Dark Ones.
Fairy Tales: The Realm of the Fairy Tales is where we get their stories. Immortals, they have a tendency to cross over into the Mortal World from time to time.
